Demos for potential records are an essential part of the process of creating an amazing song. Here we show you step by step the process that we will take your idea from and what all goes into making it a finalized record. A demo is used to lay out the foundation of the song.
Whether we receive a demo from an artist that recorded it themselves or create the demo with the artist after recording in our studio, the principle of why this first step is crucial is congruent between both. Here’s an example of both a demo received from an artist and one in which an artist would leave with after a recording/production session with RMC.

A mix can truly make or break your record. What the process of mixing boils down to in its simplest form is correct leveling of the vocals and instrumentation/drums, clean up EQ,
compression, and special effects to make the record pop. You may be surprised at the vast difference between both of the previous demos and their respective completed mixes. Take a listen down below to get a better feel of The Difference.

A professional master ensures that the mix is completely balanced and the tonality is equal. But a great master also provides the means for your record to not only sound
fantastic in a studio, but in any car stereo, venue, bluetooth devices, and small speaker systems. A master is responsible for the last 10% of a finalized song and induces a process that allows your record to compete volume wise with other songs on streaming platforms.
